As soon as we overcome this pandemic, we shall be hitting the roads, adventure tours to catch breath and to feel the freedom. When that time comes you\u2019d better bring a click of friends with you to the beach but if you can\u2019t, worry not, there will be tons of other freedom seekers hitting the beach too. As it is tradition, beach is for life, love, good moments and most relevantly here for sports.<\/p>

As the tides roll back leaving pristine White sands to form ample playing ground, the thrill of letting loose purges and the sports begin, unlike normal track or field sports, beach sport rules are not cast in stone, players here make their own rules and they are more flexible that\u2019s why a team could be made of both males and females which can\u2019t happen in normal sports.<\/p>

1. Touch rugby \u2013 a very popular sport around here, annual touch rugby extravaganza culminates annually to the Diani 5 aside touch rugby. This event was inspired by the growing love for beach touch rugby locally as well as nationally. Beach Touch rugby can be played by anyone who can run on sand, it doesn\u2019t require muscles as it is much more of touch than it is hard tackles hence the popularity at the beach.<\/p>

2. Volleyball \u2013 the most popular inter gender beach sport, beach volleyball attracts all age groups \u2013 it is exhilarating to play among both young and old as it\u2019s among the moments you get to witness the youth creative moves against the experience of the old.<\/p>

3. Ultimate Frisbee \u2013 Ultimate frisbee, is a low-contact team sport played with a flying disc (frisbee). It is unlike most sports due to its focus on self-officiating, even at the highest levels of competition. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone. Other basic rules are that players must not take steps while holding the disc, and interceptions, incomplete passes, and passes out of bounds are turnovers.<\/p>

4. Football \u2013 From the beaches in Brazil to Europe and Asia, this is the only sport played almost in all beaches, in Diani, beach football is a daily affair as long as the tides and rains hold back, so while you are here and want to keep fit as you have fun just take a stroll around the beach and you will find beach footballers doing their thing.<\/p>
